Ashley Hall is pleased to welcome to acclaimed author and historian Harlan Greene to campus.  He will share insight into his recent book The Real Rainbow Row.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

HARLAN GREENE | A native of Charleston, Harlan Greene is emeritus Scholar-in-Residence at the College of Charleston’s Addlestone Library. A winner of the Lambda Literary Award and a 2024 inductee into the SC Academy of Authors, he is the author of numerous essays, articles, novels and works of history and biography, many focusing on various aspects of Charleston and the Lowcountry.

Ashley Hall Writers Series

Since its creation in 2005, the Ashley Hall’s Writers Series has hosted dozens of award-winning authors on the school’s historic campus located in downtown Charleston. Events are generally free and open to the public. Recent featured guests have included acclaimed art critic for The New Republic Jed Perl, non-fiction writer and poet Lisa Wells, and award-winning food writer Rossi Anastopoulo ’13.
